"It is a moral issue. Hakuna offence kwa penal code," city lawyer Cliff Ombeta says after netizens called on police to investigate DJ Brownskin's circulating video.
Netizens scolded the DJ for watching his wife die without intervening. Ombeta, however, noted there is no evidence that the DJ committed a crime.
"As long as he did not provide/avail it to her. You are "your brother's keeper" on moral issues," Ombeta said.
"Did he induce? No proof. Did he aid? No proof. Did he abet (assist in committing crime)? No proof. Did he watch? Yes. Not criminal.
Did he record? Not criminal," he added.
