Naivas Saga

Seems Naivas might end up like Tuskys soon.

The family of Peter Mukuha - the founder of supermarket chain Naivas - is embroiled in a property row, with one of his daughters seeking to be named administrator.

Best time to redeem any points you might have at Naivas is Now!

Below are some of the Kenyans reactions

Juma G: Tuskys Supermarket was killed because of kids of the founder fighting for control. It died. 5000 direct jobs lost. 60,000 indirect jobs lost. Now, Naivas, after seeing all that, the kids are playing the same game. Before we know it, it will be dead. Buried.

Orina Onyonka: Sibling power struggles can be detrimental to businesses, as seen with Tuskys. Let's hope Naivas learns from that and avoids a similar fate.

Kivuva: In other countries the government would force them to agree for the sake of the economy especially the staff employed there. Case in point is the Indian family of Ambani.

Jamakiauto:If you have any loyalty points with naivas redeem them quickly, that one now is on a slippery slope, I saw it with tusky, nakumatt, and uchumi and I lost points in three of them,

Brian Korir: Once you involve family rangles in business jua kinawaramba soon..haha.

Ronah50: Kilichompata Tuskys pia kitawaramba.

In the end Quickmart and Magunas will thrive.

Joshua: Kama uko na points kwa card ya @naivas_kenya you better redeem them. This is how @TuskysOfficial and @Nakumatt started they go to court & create grand standings affect the suppliers & finally collapse. We have the script of this chain stores in Kenya. The ego of family members

X3double:Wooooi, even Naivas is on it's way down! These fights do not end well.

Samuel:Lemme redeem my points. I lost many nakumatt and Turskeys points.

Amo:Once Family members are embroiled in property disputes that’s the beginning of the downfall of the business. That’s was the downfall of tuskeys supermarket, and it’s the same trend naivas is taking.

Mkenya Daima:Naivas already starting to show signs of cracks. Going down unless they have directors who aren't family members

Edu:Wakwende huko.... This is how they killed Tuskys. Selfishness. Huko na hama wabaki wakipigana

Kevwambugu:And so it begins….you could call it a curse.

John:I wish such things can be solved in-house.
