In Kirinyaga County, the police have arrested a high school teacher named William Kinyua who allegedly drugged and s0d0mised a 23-year-old man at Baricho Trading Centre in Ndia Constituency. Kinyua, who had been on the run since the incident occurred last week, was finally apprehended by the authorities on Wednesday. The suspect is a teacher at Baricho High School.
Confirming the incident, Kirinyaga West Sub-County Police Commander, Moses Koskei, informed Citizen Digital that Kinyua had lured the victim, a car wash attendant, to a local hotel in Sagana. Kinyua had duped the victim into following him to the town after washing his car. The victim, who is intellectually disabled, was enticed with the promise of a pint of beer for a job well done.
After arriving at a local pub, Kinyua kept his word and bought the alcohol. However, the victim soon lost his senses after ingesting the booze, which had been spiked with drugs by Kinyua. "The victim said he thought he had done a good job by washing the teacher's vehicle but little did he know that the teacher had ill intentions," said Koskei.
According to reports, the victim was found nak3d and dumped near the Sagana River by a group of women who alerted the relevant authorities. The abused party was then taken to the hospital. Kinyua is currently in police custody at Baricho Police Station and is awaiting arraignment.
